The world's most expensive premium phone has been launched at $374,472.89 dollars!



Luxury phone maker Vertu has officially launched its latest premium phone, Vertu Signature Cobra, at a noisy price of $360,000 (about Rs. 2.3 crore). The distinctive feature of the phone is its design, which includes the shape of a snake wrapped around the edges.


Vertu Signature Cobra is made with 439 sapphires. The snake's eyes on the device are made of emeralds. According to Chinese website GizChina, Signature Cobra consists of 288 parts assembled in the UK. So far, only 8 units have been manufactured from Vertu Signature Cobra.


Interested buyers can purchase the device on the Chinese e-commerce portal, JD.com and customers can even book the phone in advance at an additional cost of $145.

As for specifications, Vertu Signature Cobra has a 2-inch QVGA 240-× 320 TFT LCD screen and is protected by sapphire crystal. The device provides 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and comes with a removable battery and 5.5 hours of talking time.
